Kitty Chronicles II

This is our new kitten Mig. She's no Tig, but she's pretty cool. She's a burrower and a pretty good jumper.

Cooking spree

Look what I made! My second attempt at fresh fruit tartlets this week. These turned out pretty well, although the pastry cream was a bit too lemony.

Also this week, I'm learning to make fresh pasta. First tagliolini, then ravioli.

This is such a great way to avoid writing thank-you notes!

Kitty Chronicles

We adopted Tig on Saturday, and gave him back today. Our house is so quiet now. He's a fabulous kitten, but the vet wasn't confident about his immune system. After Claude, we're not taking any chances. Bye Tig! We'll miss you.

Pasta!

Mmmm, I made fresh pasta tonight. It was fun, and delicious. I love working with dough! And, to top it off, the Pistons utterly humiliated the Lakers. :-)

Sheesh, how did this happen? I remember something about a sunny day a week or so ago, a white cloth, a fluffy dress, a big white cake, and riding a chair... But I don't really remember anything else.
